We don’t know what the Ferryman intends to achieve through his actions, aside from living up to his name. They don’t get locked in cages, but go with the Ferryman willingly due to hostile circumstances they are fleeing from. All the children he ferries to the maw seem to be survivors, same as Six. It does not seem like he gives children to the Maw intending them to be served to the Guest. What children he ferries? Does he work for other entities, like the Lady? Or feuds? How does he benefit from his work? With the books coming out this year, we may get the chance to learn more of this enigmatic character and his intents. It seems the Ferryman typically vets specific children and - as his name implies - ferries specific children, like Noon and the boy from the fishing village. Though it could be speculated there are other vendors who work in the capture and market of children in a large scale, which supplies places like the Maw with their cargo. The Ferryman is an exclusive to the Titan comics (unless there’s source material I missed), so it’s interesting to want to include this character as opposed to the Bellman who was meant for the original Little Nightmares game - but it seems like Bandai has decided to merge the two.īut based on the children from the original comics, it is implied that the Ferryman brings children to the Maw - tho we do not know if he brings all children, or exclusively the specific children (such as implied by Six). I do believe that Bandai has wanted to revive the source material of the og comics, and make the Ferryman a more prominent character in the lore of Little Nightmares - the Nowhere realm. Which might be true, but she’s very willing to toss a kid off a cliff over it. Much like Mono in TTT, everything that happens to her feels very personal - others are out to get her or steal her food stuffs. She’s a victim circumstances and a lack of communication structure, same as all the other kids. So she thinks that when does something to communicate a certain need or message, and she gets her interpreted que that the exchange occurred, she just believes she’s made her own intents and actions clear. She internalizes that others should understand her nonverbal behavior as adequate communication because sometimes she gets the correct reactions that would indicate to her that her ‘speek’ was interpreted correctly. Probably one of the problems for TTT Six in my series is she doesn’t set up boundaries. Ooh sorry if you didn’t like the ending I added.I still run wild with the headcannon that thought Mono thought everything he was doing for Six was good and right, and he probably was right in a lot of cases, Six didn’t see any of his intent like that. Even if it meant having to earn your trust back after you watched her let go of mono’s hand. she let go of mono’s hand not because he ruined her nightmare : and after the events at the signal tower confirmed that even more. : sometime not even letting you help take down monsters she’s really really protective… : she would just keep you close to her at all times not letting you out of her sight six would *insert scene from little nightmares ii six crushing bullies head* and she didn’t know the full potential of mono’s powers which scared her. when the thin man started chasing the three of you six was afraid of your well-being worried that you’d end up being hurt or killed to be honest you liked mono you thought of him as a friend and was happy he saved you and six she’d hold your hands everywhere making sure your safe and nearby. but first when the two of you first met mono six would be skeptical holding your hand or if mono were to take six’s hand she’d take yours : she’d be first to enter a room clearing it of any danger making sure you would be safe : like how mono can be protective at times six is really protective.
